The Memorial Opera House looking for School or Churches Children's Choirs to perform in Upcoming Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. 
 

The historic Memorial Opera House in downtown Valparaiso will be celebrating it's 115^th anniversary in 2008 and as part of our celebration we would like to offer children choirs a unique opportunity.  
 

The second show of our 2008 season will be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Lyrics by Tim Rice, direction by Jeff and Kristen DeBoer of Crown Point, Choreography by Kathleen Dominiak of Schererville and Musical Direction by Jeff Otto of Schererville.  Executive Producer is Brian Schafer of the Memorial Opera House.  As part of this production we are inviting area children's choirs to apply to perform in one of the performances.    
 

There are 9 performances of Joseph scheduled with the following dates: 4/4, 4/5/, 4/6, 4/11, 4/12, 4/13, 4/18, 4/19, 4/20. Choirs and performance dates will be selected on a first-come first-served basis.

All Choirs must fill out a show application to be considered. Deadline for choir applications is February 1, 2008.
