Synopsis:

After running away from the orphanage run by the heartless Mr. Bumble, Oliver meets the Artful Dodger and is recruited to pick pockets for Fagin.

There, Oliver finds a friend in Nancy, but neither she nor the boy are fit for a life of crime.

Based on the Dickens novel, it will engage your audience with its pathos and drama, while delighting everyone with its outstanding musical numbers.

Food, Glorious Food, I'd Do Anything, Where is Love?, Consider Yourself, As Long As He Needs Me, Who Will Buy and Reviewing the Situation are musical theatre classics.

Audition Info:

Saturday, December 3, at 10:00 a.m. for children 7-14 years old. Please bring a prepared song to sing. Sheet music is preferred. No CD accompaniment will be played. Children may also go through a movement exercise. Please do not dress up.

Monday, December 5, at 6:00 p.m. for adult cast members ages 15 and up.

Please bring a prepared song with the sheet music. No a capella or CDs will be allowed.

Casting for up to 25 children to portray Oliver, The Artful Dodger, Bet, and the Workhouse orphans and Fagin's Gang.

Casting for 9 men and 8 women. All roles are open.

Rehearsal Info:

There will be a few rehearsals before the end of the year to work on vocals and accents. Then a full schedule will start after the first of the year.

Children rehearsals will be earlier and/or on the weekends to not disrupt their school schedules. Oliver, The Artful Dodger, and Bet will have later rehearsals. Tech rehearsals may end later for all children.
